tents

So me and Onno bought 2 tents.
They were very cheap and we knew they were not in all that good condition.
The seller told us the pikes were made of wood and were packed wet and starting to mold and rot, hence damaging the tent.
We decided to try and unpacked them yesterday.
We did a very good buy on them.
We looked it up and new they cost 270 euro ex. shipping and we bought em WAY less incl. shipping.
Well the pikes were molded, the tent smells a bit, but no real damage.
We cleaned the iron sticks a bit and cut them in size (they were a bit too long).
But all in all I am very happy... sleeping in my own tent this weekend !

Unfortunatly Calam had a visit from the fire department and are putting up silly rules.
Fire extinghuiser stuff etc. It sucks as we don't have one but wanna cook on a fire...
We'll just keep water close... not that the ground itself will be wet enough... fire departments... safety sure... but don't overdo it :S
